Ines Pandzic, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

I completed my PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Western Australia. My thesis examined the Role of Trait Anxiety and Attentional Bias to Negative Information in Intrusion Vulnerability Following an Acute Negative Event. When you study the intricate details and learn to think like a scientist, you notice the small detail and a delicate balance between how we feel, and ultimately how we show up in this world.

While pursuing higher education, I became a mother. Balancing the dual roles of postgraduate student and mother has had a profound effect on cultivating awareness and practicing mindful parenting.

Motherhood has been a catalyst for exploring self-knowledge and finding answers to how to thrive in today's world as a woman and a mother.

The truth is a few things give me as much pleasure as learning about human nature and what promotes deeply impactful and positive outcomes for us, our families and our communities.
